For Livingston School District supervisor Chris Bickel, a disaster can hit very close to home even when it’s many miles away. Bickel, who is originally from Ventnor, led a caravan of two school buses and a box truck filled with supplies for his hometown Saturday, Dec. 1. He was met by 100 volunteers organized by the teachers and staff at the Ventnor Educational Community Complex participating in Project AfterMath.
